HOW WE WORK

How we choose and check sites

How a site gets on our list

We look at research sites that pay people to take part in interviews, focus groups, usability tests and similar studies. Before a site is added, someone at Her Income reads its own published pages — how it works, who can join and how participants are paid.

  • It must be free to join, and you apply on the site itself.
  • We don’t list anything that asks you to pay to take part, multi-level marketing, or anything that asks you to receive or pass on money for other people.
  • We keep the list short on purpose. We remove a site if its pages stop matching what we describe, or if members report problems we can’t resolve.

We’re independent

Her Income isn’t owned by, affiliated with or endorsed by any of the sites we cover. Their names belong to them.

Facts come from each site’s own pages

Every factual line in a guide — for example, how payment works — links to the official page it came from, with the date we checked it. We recheck guides regularly and update those dates. If a site changes something between checks, its own page is always the one to trust.

Our advice is labelled

Some parts of a guide are our own advice, such as keeping your profile complete or when to check. Those parts are labelled “Our advice”. They are our opinion, not the site’s rules, and they never include help with answering screeners — your answers are your own.

Referral fees never decide the order

Some sign-up links may be referral links, which means we may earn a fee if you join through them. It costs you nothing, and every referral link is labelled right next to it. Whether a site pays referral fees has no effect on whether we list it or where it appears. More detail is in our Referral disclosure.

Your information stays with you

We don’t share your profile, checklists or earnings with any site. If you join a site through a referral link, that site will know you came from Her Income — nothing more.

Selection and pay are never guaranteed

Each site decides who takes part in its studies and what it pays. We can help you set up well and keep a routine, but we can’t promise you’ll be selected or how much you’ll earn.

Report a problem

If something in a guide looks wrong, a link is broken, or a site behaves in a way that worries you, email support@herincome.app. Tell us which site and what you saw. A person at Her Income reviews each report, and we correct a guide when the site’s official pages show we got something wrong.
